Aureomarginata Hosta

Aureomarginata presents quite a picture in shady garden spaces. From its ribbed, wavy foliage to its exquisitely subtle colouration of mid green leaves with golden-yellow edging, it adds elegant style and plenty of colour to borders, feature beds, shade gardens and containers. It is also used quite successfully as an easy-care ground cover between dense shrubbery and within tree lines. The heart-shaped foliage, purple midsummer flowers and large, upright mounding habit make it a great choice for softening the harsh lines of a wooded area, too.
