Blue Balloon Flower

A native of East Asia, this clump-forming herbaceous perennial is hard to beat for the cutting garden, borders and containers. Blue flower buds puff up like balloons before opening, hence the name, then exhibit five-pointed lobes with a bell-like shape. Remove spent flowers to prolong bloom period. Exceptionally long vase life.
