Boxwood Winter Gem Hedge
Noted for keeping its good green color through winter (while most boxwood have a tendency to "bronze" which makes them look like they have severe winter freeze damage). Shows good resistance to the main pests of boxwoods: 1) leaf miner; 2) psyllids; 3) mites. Trouble-free, low care. An occasional shear to maintain the form you like, is all that is required. Use as a low, formal hedge, or mass together for an excellent ground cover. Mature at 2-3' tall and 2-3' wide. Neither deer nor rabbits will eat Winter Gem. Recommended for zones 5-9.
