Common White Monkshood

Plant this variety anywhere with well-drained soil that receives part shade to full shade. Its pyramid-shaped flower spikes are covered with white florets that resemble the hoods of monks. These long-lasting blooms are set off by the foliage, which consists of deeply cut, fernlike leaves that remain dark green all season.
