French Meadow Rue

Cloudlike puffs of double mauve-lavender blooms appear for weeks, drawing in honeybees and butterflies while adding soft movement to dappled shade. The flowers cluster above lacy blue green foliage that brings texture to woodland plantings. The blossoms make elegant cut stems and shift toward pale lavender or white as they mature. Despite its delicate look, this drought tolerant perennial stands up to warm humid summers and grows happily in moist woodland soils.
