Hillary Itoh Peony

Here's an Itoh hybrid whose colours change to spectacular effect in a mature plant with many flowers in different stages of fading. Big, semidouble and double blooms spanning 5–6" in diameter emerge as very dark pink to red before fading to a cream colour on the ends of the petals. The lightly scented flowers have a long bloom time. A hardy plant with a bushy habit featuring large, deeply cut, dark green leaves.
