Rainbow Road UltraDouble™ Hyacinth

There aren't many places where Rainbow Road can't add some pizzazz. Its showy, sweetly scented blooms are light pink with medium pink midribs and beautifully ringed by green outer petals that add even more colour. This hyacinth is perfect for brightening and perfuming a border front, container garden or fresh-cut arrangement. If you enjoy growing hyacinths and especially like having double-flowered hyacinths in your garden, then you're sure to adore this petal-packed variety that's part of our new UltraDouble Hyacinth series. While a typical, single-flowered hyacinth has six petals and most double varieties have about 12, an UltraDouble hyacinth bears up to 18 petals in each of its many star-shaped flowers! These extremely double (maybe should we call them triple) blooms form dense flower spikes atop 8-10" stems from early to mid spring. Rainbow Road is a deer-resistant, low-maintenance hyacinth that can grow in almost any type of well-drained soil. It performs best when getting at least some direct sunlight.
